Civil rights and civil liberties attorney Ron Kuby, once a protégé of the famed radical lawyer and civil rights activist William Kunstler, has spent decades defending the rights of the accused, the poor and the downtrodden. Mr. Kuby joins Bob Herbert to discuss some of his clients who have been exonerated after wrongful convictions, and how inaccurate eyewitness testimony and false confessions can gravely harm the justice system.
