The Voting Rights Act has been gutted and voter suppression is once again rampant. Guest Michael Waldman is the author of “The Fight to Vote,” and he joins Bob Herbert to discuss this compelling new book about the long struggle to bring the right to vote to all Americans. Mr. Waldman is also the president of the Brennan Center for Justice at the NYU School of Law.
