Celebrated economist Jeffrey Sachs discusses the state of the American economy, how it has fared over the past few decades under Republican and Democratic presidents, and how the presidential nominees differ in their economic approach. Mr. Sachs, who is the director of the Center for Sustainable Development, as well as director of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Solutions Network, expresses his concern about the widening income gap, and the lack of a sense of community within our country.
