And except for losing candidates, some of the roughest memories will have to be shouldered by the pollsters and public opinion experts, who weren’t just wrong about the Donald Trump – Hillary Clinton matchup, they were wildly, almost unbelievably wrong.

Bob breaks down the numbers with one of the foremost practitioners of the craft, Lee Miringoff, the longtime director of the Marist Institute of Public Opinion at Marist College, where he is also a professor of political science.
