Year after year we hear that America’s infrastructure is deteriorating. We’re not doing nearly enough to repair, maintain and improve our roads, bridges, water systems, schools, ports and so forth. The U.S. economy is six times larger now than it was in 1955. But we’re not investing any more in our critical infrastructure today than we did then.

How does this make sense?
