Founded in 1998, the Puerto Rican Arts Alliance of Chicago (PRAA) was created to raise awareness, knowledge, and access to the Puerto Ricans stateside.

Meet the Chicago bomba group Buya. This Chicago-based ensemble aims to preserve and enhance the bomba tradition, in an attempt to create bridges of communication between the diaspora and their roots in the island of Puerto Rico.

We present you the Puerto Rico Cultural Center operating out of Chicago, Illinois. First organizing itself during the tumultuous times of early 1970s Chicago, the Center rose out of the necessity of immediate assistance for the community.
