We'll highlight the achievements of African-Americans past and present….We'll focus in on a program called ACRES and its collaboration with schools like Medger Evers College. It's a program that teaches high school students about the civil rights era by revisiting history and visiting some movement veterans. (Jasmine Jordan) You'll meet a Bronx Community College student who's been crafting her own magazine since she was 12 years old. (Louis Armstrong) And we'll visit the Louis Armstrong House. The jazz master's home has been turned into a museum administered by Queens College.
