Under new leadership, the SEC has been reinvigorated, and Congress has passed legislation aimed at limiting corporate malfeasance. Now, however, some business groups are complaining that these reforms are excessive. Has the pendulum swung too far? William C. Thompson, the NYC Comptroller weighs in on corporate regulation.
