This edition: Charles Komanoff, on "Energy Policy"

Episode Details
Original tape date: May 4, 2006.Anyone who has tried to fill up a gas tank lately knows that this country’s dependence on oil is near crisis-point. With gas over $3 a gallon in many parts of the country, people who depend on their cars for work, study, or family care are seriously hurting. President Bush now laments our “addiction to oil,” a phrase, oddly enough, that some on the left have used for years, to no avail. How do we stop being oil junkies? Charles Komanoff, an enery-economist and longtime environmental activist has some solutions.
