Argentinian-born Graciela Daniele began her career as a dancer, and has continued to direct and choreograph some of our most innovative dance dramas and musical theatre pieces.  She discusses moving from Paris to New York as a young woman inspired by “West Side Story,” her preference for directing original works rather than revivals, and the experience that led her to believe that it may be best not to meet one’s hero in person.
