Co-founder and Artistic Director of Second Stage Theatre, Carole  Rothman remembers some of her favorite productions,  including Cheryl West’s Jar the Floor, Charles Fuller’s A Soldier’s 
Play, and  the New York premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s early musical Saturday Night. She comments as well on the transfer to Broadway of such original Second Stage productions as The Little Dog Laughed and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.
